FIELD: forecasting of force and point of earthquake. SUBSTANCE: observation points are arranged along longitudinal directional extent of fractures and along several secant profiles ( transverse to extent ). Each observation point presents two fitted hydrogeological holes ( one opens pressure water-bearing horizon, the other one opens pressure-free horizon ) and equipment recording high-frequency oscillations. Interval between profiles and points is selected with due account of distance at which anomalies indicating appreciable earthquakes ( about 50 km ) are recorded. Indicators of hydrodynamic field are observed with subsequent determination of magnitude of coming earthquake by known empirical dependence. High-frequency component of seismic waves is recorded in addition for precise localization of epicenter of potential focus over area of manifestation of indicating hydrodynamic anomalies. Coordinates of epicenter of potential focus are defined more accurately by distribution of anomalies in plan.
