FIELD: electrical engineering, in particular, methods for manufacture of carbidesilicon electric heaters. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in the fact that blanks of current leads and their working parts are manufactured by the method of plastic molding from molding compound, the blanks of current leads and their working parts are dried, the blanks are worked to the required standard size, cilicision of the current lead blanks is accomplished by firing in a cilicizing compound and in an inert medium; after that the current leads are connected to the ends of the working parts for manufacture of the electric heater blank, the electric heater blanks are cooled down, and electric heater blanks are cooled down, and surface metal plating of their ends is performed. Drying of blanks of the working parts after plastic molding is accomplished at a variable temperature varying from 0C to 110 C at a rate of 15 C/h, and then they are cured for at least 5 hours, drying of blanks of the current leads after plastic molding is accomplished in several temperature stages: the first stage-at a variable temperature varying from 0C to 75C at a rate of 20 C/h, and then they are cured for at least 3 hours, the second stage - at a variable temperature varying from 65C to 110C at a rate of 15 C/h, and then they are cured for at least 3 hours, the their stage - at a variable temperature varying from 100C to 140C at a rate of 15 C/h, and then they are cured, calcined, and the current leads are connected to the ends of the working parts.
