FIELD: technique and practice of forest-growing, in particular, devices for forest planting. SUBSTANCE: device for forest planting, installed on a flight vehicle, has an appliance for feeding the containers with seedlings, each container is made in the form of a latticed casing located on interconnected parachute shroud lines. The parachute canopy has a rigid rim attached to which are the parachute shroud lines. The appliance for feeding the containers is made in the form of an inclined guide with a keeper for piecemeal feeding of containers. Attached to the rim are one or several tapered rods turned downwards. Each rod has a weighted tapered end. The casing and the parachute shroud lines are made of cotton fibre, and the parachute canopy is made of paper. EFFECT: enlarged areas of forest planting of wood seedlings in the conditions of rugged terrain and woodland, enhanced capacity. 4 cl, 4 dwg
