APPARATUS FOR BENDING REINFORCEMENT RODS Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: construction of cylindrical buildings or structures with different curvature radius from monolithic ferroconcrete. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes master forms, each having horizontal rollers mounted on carriages. Guides for carriages are arranged radially in such a way that lengthwise axes of guides divide circle arcs of maximum and minimum curvature radiuses by equal length pieces; all arcs are drawn from point in which clamping device is mounted on supporting frame. Along the whole length each guide has marked openings providing possibility for placing into them pins also passing in through openings of carriages. Said carriages are provided with two flat inclined guides forming flared portion at side of rod arrangement and adjoining to roller. Drive unit is in the form of one-drum winch. By means of flexible member, deflector unit and roller of carriage being the last after clamping device winch is kinematically joined with removable tie bar fit onto free end of bent rod. EFFECT: possibility for making bent rods of different diameters in wide range of curvature radius values and rod lengths. 3 dwg
