FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: processing method comprises initial neutralization of alkali water and further acidification thereof with hydrochloric acid to isolate iodine and bromine followed by oxidation, desorption, absorption and crystallization thereof. After isolation of iodine, crude solution being withdrawn in subjected to concentration and further electrolysis to give hydrochloric acid and sodium hypochloride. In this case, hydrochloric acid is directed to initial process stage to neutralize alkali and acidly original iodo-bromo containing water, and sodium hypochloride introduced into process at iodine oxidation stage. At alkali neutralization stage and original iodo-bromo containing water, process is carried out to carbon withdrawn dioxide which is then used to produce dry edible ice. Complex processing of iodo-bromo containing sodium chloride water is carried out with high content of methane, methane is withdrawn to alkali neutralization and iodo-bromo water acidification stage. After concentration, some mother solution is used for subsequently extracting common salt and preparing solution of bromide salts which are sued for producing weighting compound with density of 1.2-1.21. EFFECT: more efficient processing method. 5 cl, 1 dwg
