FIELD: natural mineral water processing. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing iodine-depleted mineral water obtained from naturally occurring iodine- and bromine-containing sodium chloride waters to produce natural therapeutic mineral waters, edible sodium chloride, tablewater, and salts useful for balneological treatment. Method comprises neutralizing alkali present in original mineral water, treatment with hydrochloric acid and recovering iodine, consecutive primary evaporation of iodine-depleted water to density 1150- 1170 kg/cu.m, treating evaporated water with gaseous chlorine to form iodine salt in iodate form and second evaporation to density 1180-1210 kg/cu. m initiating formation of sodium chloride and sodium iodate crystals, which are separated from salt-depleted water. EFFECT: extended assortment of recovered high-quality natural products obtained under environmental-friendless conditions. 4 cl
