FIELD: methods of preparation of hydrochloric acid solution by chemical interaction in aqueous medium of molecular iodine and gaseous chlorine which is continuously introduced into aqueous medium containing molecular iodine forming reaction mass which includes target product. SUBSTANCE: disinfectant contains hydrochloric acid solution obtained by said method and its composition is as follows, mas. %: iodochloride, 1.8-2.2; hydrogen chloride, 30.0-32.0; water, 63.8-68.2; or iodochloride, 9.8-10.2; hydrogen chloride, 30.0-32.0; water, 55.8-60.2. Device proposed for realization of this method has housing with at least two holes for delivery of starting reagents and lower hatch for draining target product. Unit for mixing reagents is mounted inside housing for immersion in solution. Distributing unit for delivery of gas and drainage of target product has at least one hole; it is mounted inside housing near bottom and is provided with shut-off member. EFFECT: possibility of obtaining target product of required concentration at one stage; facilitated procedure. 16 cl, 1 dwg, 6 ex
