FIELD: gas and liquid storage and distribution technology. SUBSTANCE: fuel cylinder has external high-pressure vessel and internal vessel without differential pressure which cavity is coupled to refuelling and emptying line, and in upper part it communicates with cavity of high-pressure vessel. Volume of internal vessel is determined by relation: Vin≅Pmax·VcliqR·Tmax, where Vin is internal vessel volume; Vc is total volume of cylinder cavities; Pmax is maximum permissible pressure in cylinder; ρliq is cryogenic liquid density; R is gas component of working medium; Tmax is maximum permissible temperature of cylinder. External surface of internal vessel is provided with thermal insulation, and vessels communicate with each other by means of holes located in upper part of internal vessel. As a result, cylinder may be filled up with liquefied and gaseous natural gas by ordinary compression. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
