FIELD: surgical instruments, in particular, retractors, applicable, for example, for laparoscopic cholecystectomy, as well as in other endovideoscopic operations, when lifting of the abdominal wall is required with due account made for peculiarities of surgical intervention. SUBSTANCE: the device has a post, joist for fastening of the link that is provided with an end rotary working member. The end rotary working member has arms of a different length. The arms have cross-sections on the ends coinciding or not coinciding in shape between each other. The dimension of the cross-section on the longer arm exceeds the dimension of the cross- section on the shorter arm at least by 1.2 time, and the cross-sections have the shape of an oval or circle, or polygon. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of holding of retracted tissues without their traumata, improved engagement of the working member with the tissues adjoining it, and, finally, improved results of operation. 2 cl, 4 dwg
