FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves performing anterior abdominal wall retraction using bearing arch set in the abdominal cavity. The so created cavity is optimized in volume and shape with intraoperative X-ray examination being without any hindrance. To do it, additional half-arch is introduced into the abdominal cavity through trocar. The half-arch is fixed with its end in a groove at the top of the bearing arch bend. The opposite end of the additional half-arch is attached to the operation table with an additional vertical upright like the bearing arch. EFFECT: enabled surgical interventions in the cases of serious background pathology; lower risk of traumatic complications. 2 cl, 1 dwg
