FIELD: winemaking alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: one part of staff is dried at 105-170 C for 20-25 h and soaked in hot water at 60-75 C for 1.5-2.5 h, after which wet staff is dried at 105-170 C for 20- 25 h with air access once every 2 h for 5-10 sec. Crude ethyl alcohol prepared from grain stock is refined by adding 0.1 N alkali in amount 59 ml per 1 l alcohol followed by stirring and pause for 25-39 min. Alcohol is then distilled on vacuum evaporation installation, wherein head and tail fractions are removed in amounts providing desired composition of alcohol product fraction. Part of distilled fraction is diluted by distilled water to strength 65°, mixed with carbonized and dried staff at ratio 1:5 ensuring 40 g staff per 1 l alcohol. Resulting mixture is heated to boiling temperature and refluxed 45-50 min in apparatus with backflow condenser, cooled to 40-45 C, kept at this temperature in closed space for at least 72 h, and filtered. The other part of distilled alcohol is diluted by distilled water to strength 43-45°, refined with neutral sorbent, filtered, and combined with distilled and filtered alcohol in specified proportions to give strong alcohol drink. EFFECT: reduced cost of base stock and increased assortment of alcoholic beverages.
