FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves recording tetrapolar thoracic rheogram in simultaneous mode. Time intervals from sending St pulse to electric ventricle responses coming as R-tooth on electrocardiogram (St-R) and from St pulse to beginning of mechanical response observed as differential rheogram curve growth (Ad) (St-Ad). Conduction jumps on the curve being observed as considerable elongation of St-Ad interval with St-R interval insignificantly changed or unchanged, coronary insufficiency is diagnosed. Significant elongation of St- Ad interval exceeding its initial value by 40%, myocardial insufficiency is diagnosed. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of the method in the cases of myocardium hypertrophy and cardiac chamber dilation.
