FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying transesophageal electric cardiac stimulation in anterograde conduction of excitation through atria. Transesophageal electric cardiac stimulation frequency is set 50% higher than the basic sinus rhythm. More than 9% of anterograde conduction of excitation together with two or more atrium wall hypo- or akinesia areas being developed before and after stimulation, atrial fibrillation and flutter paroxysm development is predicted.
