FIELD: absorption plants for manufacture of sulfuric acid. SUBSTANCE: absorption plant includes absorber 1, gas heat exchanger 3, heat exchange apparatus 2 for cooling the gas before absorption, circulating receiver 4 and acid cooler 5. Absorption plant is also provided with drum-separator 6 whose outlet is connected with inlet of heat exchange apparatus 2 and inlet is connected with outlet of this apparatus and is provided with water replenishing line and line for discharge of steam to consumer; cooling agent inlet and outlet of acid cooler 5 are connected directly with consumer. EFFECT: avoidance of penetration of acidified water into last loop, thus excluding corrosion and enhancing reliability of plant. 2 dwg
