FIELD: foundry industry. SUBSTANCE: anti- -sticking dye has the following components, wt.-%: mullite- -corundum chamotte, 8.-10.7; synthetic corundum, 3.6-4.4; zircon, 2.9-4.4; refractory clay, 1.1-2.1; kaolin, 1.1-2.9; water glass, 4.3-4.8 and water, the balance. The use of synthetic corundum as a dye component ensures to increase the useful life of chill molds. Mullite-corundum chamotte provides thermal resistance and covering ability of cover. Zircon prevents cover caking and enhances its thermal resistance. Mixture of finely ground refractory claim and kaolin with water provides the high degree of suspension stability. Density of antisticking dye and thickness of its penetration into chill mold surface are decreased that results to improvement of its antisticking properties and increase of thermal resistance.
