FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to casting production, in particular to antipenetration low-conductivity paints applied to an internal surface of large moulds when manufacturing solid wear-resistant bandages by centrifugal casting. The antipenetration low-conductivity paint contains a synthetic fire-resistant filler for which titanium carbide is used 39-42%, 7-9% sodium oxide, aluminium oxide 5-7%, 5-7% magnesium oxide and varnish containing powder of polyvinyl alcohol 3-5% and 97-95% water. The components are taken in the following ratio, wt %: synthetic fire-resistant filler 25-40, varnish is based on polyvinyl alcohol 60-75.
EFFECT: regulation of the rate of crystallisation and grain size of the outer working surface of centrifugal casting, increased strength and hardness of the metal in this zone.
