FIELD: foundry production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of foundry production, in particular to non-stick thermal insulation paints applied to the inner surface of large-sized molds in the manufacture of massive wear-resistant bandages by centrifugal casting. The non-stick thermal insulation coating for centrifugal casting molds contains a synthetic refractory filler and varnish, and the synthetic refractory filler contains, wt. %: zirconium carbide (ZrC) 39-42, aluminum oxide (Al2O3) 41-43, magnesium oxide (MgO) 5-7, sodium oxide (Na2O) 7-9, and the varnish is a varnish based on polyvinyl alcohol (PVAL-1) containing polyvinyl alcohol powder 3-5 wt. %, and water 97-95 wt. %, with the following content of coating components, wt.%: synthetic refractory filler 25-40, varnish (PVAL-1) 60-75.
EFFECT: increase in heat resistance and heat-insulating characteristics of the paint is provided, which makes it possible to obtain a clean casting surface and exclude its weldability to the inner surface of the mold.
