FIELD: glass industry; medicine glass containers. SUBSTANCE: glass jar for medicines is made with neck in form of triangular rim. Glass tubing is cut into blanks of length corresponding to length required for making two jars and are subjected to annealing firing at temperature of 680 - 700 C for 50-55 min. Forming is carried out by neck forming rollers with triangular recess at speed making equal to 16 cycles per minute. EFFECT: improved quality of glass jars, enlarged assortment of jars and their capacity.
