FIELD: powder metallurgy, particularly, methods of application of coatings to part surfaces from powder materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes application of powder to part surface, part heating and isothermal holding. In this case, initial heating of part is carried out up to moment of attaining at contact with powder material of temperature equalling melting point of powder material. Then heating is discontinued and renewed again with temperature decreased to temperature of powder sintering at which isothermal holding is made. EFFECT: higher strength of adhesion of powder material with part surface due to formation of thin layer of melt at interface between part surface and powder material. 2 cl, 2 dwg, 2 ex
