FIELD: powder metallurgy, particularly, methods of application of coatings from powdery materials to surface of machine parts. SUBSTANCE: method includes loading of charge into mold, mold rotation and heating. Value of mold rotation speed is given to provide for uniform distribution of molten metal over mold surface. Then part is introduced inside mold, and rotation speed is reduced to value sufficient for filling the gap between mold and part with melt. Part is kept in melt until it is heated to required temperature, and then heating is discontinued. EFFECT: reduced labor input in method realization, higher productivity of process, simplified design of process equipment, higher strength of cohesion to base and quality of working layer. 3 dwg
