METHOD OF METAL SURFACING OF PART END SURFACE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2190501 C1

FIELD: foundry. SUBSTANCE: method involves locating separating members in matrix in alteration with parts, in spaced relation with them; filling cavities between parts and separating members and internal cavity with burden of material to be applied onto part ends; fixing assembly on machine and transmitting rotational motion to it; heating assembly till complete melting of burden. As a result, coating layer is formed on end surfaces of parts. In case one side is to be coated, one part is positioned on each side of matrix and other parts are arranged in pairs, with sides not to be coated facing each other. Separating members are arranged at part side to be coated. EFFECT: increased efficiency by simultaneous surfacing of several parts. 3 cl, 2 dwg
