FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: method for shoring foundations on natural bed to sustain too heavy thrusts or abnormal conditions causing structural failure of ground involves excavation of trench, installation of shoring members under base of foundations. Novelty is that of shoring members are installed throughout entire length of foundations base by means of forced release and radial consolidation of base soil. Microscopic tunnels used as shoring members and filled with hardening material after installation are arranged so that areas of soil consolidation of each microscopic tunnel are contacting each other and base of foundation. Diameter of soil consolidation areas is found from equation given in description of invention. EFFECT: reduced deformation of building as a whole due to improved bearing capacity of foundation. 1 cl, 2 dwg
