FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at increasing load-bearing capacity of foundations on natural bases in case of load rising or under conditions leading to violation of natural structure of ground. Proposed method includes digging of trench, driving reinforcement members under foot of foundation over entire length of foot, microtunnels being used as reinforcement members. Novelty is that walls of microtunnels are strengthened by thermal treatment and are arranged so that zones of thermally strengthened ground from each said microtunnel are in contact with each other and with foot of foundation.
