FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method of strengthening the foundation base includes excavation of the trench, drilling of microtunnels by drilling with the installation of casing pipes under the base of the foundation and filling their cavities with sand. The penetration of each microtunnel into a given length is accomplished by auger drilling with the stepwise immersion of the casing pipe in the microtunnel and the removal of the cuttings from the microtunnel. Filling cavities of microtunnel with sand is made with simultaneous sealing of sand by reverse rotation of auger and step by step removing the casing pipe and auger from microtunnel. In this case, step by step dipping and removing of the auger and casing pipe are performed by an amount equal to the pitch of the auger spiral, and the sand sealing at each step of casing and auger removal is performed until a predetermined reactive resistance of the sealed sand is achieved.
EFFECT: decrease in the unevenness of the effect on the ground of the foundations by measures to strengthen it, ensure controllability of the stressed state of the base and expand the scope of the method for strengthening the foundation base.
