FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: ripper has chisel-shaped tine with bracket, tip, cover plate with pivotally attached hoes and horizontal rotary shaft, separating roller and tie-rod secured to lower part of cover plate tine. Inclined shaft of round section is attached to bracket and tie-rod. Sleeves are mounted for movement on inclined shaft. Hoes with rods are rigidly fixed to sleeves, with distance bushings between them. Separating roller is coupled to inclined shaft through intermediate bracket so as to provide fixed gap between rods and separating roller. Ripper of such construction may be used in machines for surface and deep subsoil tillage. EFFECT: improved quality of soil crumbling, reduced consumption of herbicides by separating soil layer to be tilled, and wider operational capabilities. 2 cl, 2 dwg
