FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: ripper has tine, bracket, tip, faceplate with hoes pivotally attached to rear side of tine, separating roller, intermediate bracket and shaft loosely mounted so that its angle of inclination to horizontal plane may be adjusted. Shaft carries sleeves on which hoes with rods are fixed. Upper end of shaft is pivotally connected through intermediate bracket with separating roller. Combined ripper is used in surface and sub-soil tillage machines. Such construction of ripper allows soil to be effectively crumbled, weeds to be separated from soil and herbicide consumption to be reduced.
