FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: ripper-separator has frame, two parallel shafts arranged in succession on frame and provided with rotary spiral working tools. Shafts are interconnected through synchronizing chain transmission. Additional shaft is positioned downward of spiral working tools on frame and provided with needle disks and drive. Disks are mounted on shaft for rotation through 180 deg. Drive sprockets are mounted for repositioning to change transmission ratio and for operation of disks in rotavator mode or for slippage. Ripper-separator is used for presowing soil tillage and weed control. EFFECT: increased efficiency in soil crumbling and weed separation during presowing soil tillage. 2 dwg
