SUBSTANCE: invention describes novel derivatives of arabinofuranosylcytosine of the formula (I) (Ara-C) where R1 and R2 are taken independently from hydrogen atom and C18- and C20-saturated and monounsaturated acyl groups under condition that R1 and R2 both are not hydrogen atom; if R1 means hydrogen atom then R2 does not mean eicosenoyl (cis, trans) when R1 means eicosenoyl (cis, trans), oleoyl, stearoyl, eicosanoyl; if R1 means eladoyl then R2 does not mean eicosenoyl (cis, trans), stearoyl, eicosanoyl; if R1 means oleoyl then R2 does not mean eicosenoyl (cis, trans), stearoyl; if R1 means eicosanoyl then R2 does not mean stearoyl; if R1 means stearoyl then R2 does not mean eicosanoyl, oleoyl. Invention describes the use of derivative of Ara-C of the formula (I) for preparing pharmaceutical preparation for treatment of patients with solid tumors and lymphomas. Invention describes also pharmaceutical composition for treatment of patients with solid tumors and lymphomas.
