FIELD: treatment of sewage and process fluids; dispersion of emulsions at metal-working, chemical and other industries and metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: proposed hydraulic cyclone has cylindrical and taper housing with branch pipes for discharge of thickened fraction and delivery of contaminated suspension; housing is provided with built-in injector, clarified fraction drain branch pipe located coaxially relative to common drain branch pipe inside intermediate drain chamber mounted above housing; housing is provided with delivery chamber located in cylindrical portion between taper portion and intermediate drain chamber, branch pipe for discharge of partially clarified fluid with whose help injector is connected with delivery and intermediate drain chambers and is provided with valve, flow swirls made in form of keys smoothly mounted on inner taper surface of hydraulic cyclone along generatrices of truncated cone for plane-parallel motion in radial direction relative to axis of hydraulic cyclone; cyclone is provided with flow swirler motion mechanism; injector is fitted with additional branch pipe for delivery of replenishing liquid.
