Abstract RU 2165858 C1

FIELD: electrified railways; contact wire splicing. SUBSTANCE: splicing fitting for contact wires has two blocks with teeth and cuts, and bolt joints. Projections of cuts are made from middle of block, with their tops pointed to each other from place of butt joining of contact wire with provision of stop opposite to direction of tensile load. Hardness of block is equal to 1.55-2.2 of contact wire hardness. Pitch and height of projections of cuts are 1.5-2 mm. Cuts are made for penetration into wire surface layer of 0.6-1 mm. EFFECT: improved reliability of splicing fitting. 3 cl, 4 dwg
