FIELD: electrical communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to contact power supply lines for vehicles. Method of contact wires connection assembly manufacturing consists in the fact that wires are fastened by two dies with notched teeth, note here that notches corresponding to the notches on the dies are made on surfaces of contact wires connected with dies. Also disclosed is a contact wire connection assembly, including the wires fastening with two dies with notched teeth, wherein notches corresponding to notches on dies are formed preliminary on surfaces of contact wires connected to dies; device for forming notches on surfaces of contact wires, having a working element of an elongated shape of a C-shaped profile with a groove for placing a contact wire in it, having a relief surface, which provides formation of a notch on the contact wire.
EFFECT: provision of railway traffic safety on electrified railways, due to reliable, high-efficiency connection of dies and contact wire, which completely excludes probability of dies destruction.
