FIELD: fastening elements. SUBSTANCE: nail relates to fastening elements for assembly of wooden articles mostly. It may be used for countersunk attachment of facing fragments of wooden construction. Nail is essentially rod sharpened at one end. It contains surface at other end for striking blows when it is driven in. External surface of other end is provided with at least three ribs and their length does not exceed half the rod length. Rod thickness in section of location of ribs and thickness of each rib increase towards end opposite to surface for striking blows when nail is driven in. Given construction of fastening element head promotes reliable attachment. EFFECT: reduced material consumption. 4 dwg
