FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves hydrolyzing raw plant material with saturated limewater containing alkali with pH value of 13-14; three-staged washing of raw plant material: at first stage - washing with water, at second stage with 0.1M hydrochloric acid, at third stage with deionized water; holding raw plant material in mineral salt solution; providing additional washing in natural mineral noncarbonated table water for 15 min, with following aerodynamic drying of plant material; grinding produced mass to fine-dispersed phase with particles of 600 micron size. Method allows low-calorie prophylactic and curative food additives facilitating removal of toxic substances, including radionuclides and heavy metal ions from organism, to be produced.
