FIELD: rocket technology. SUBSTANCE: system has liquid propellant storage compartment and gas producer communicating with the latter; liquid fed from this compartment is converted into gaseous propellant in mentioned gas producer. Gas storage communicating with gas producer accumulates gaseous propellant coming from gas producer and brings it to desired pressure. Active valves control liquid propellant flow entering gas producer and gaseous propellant flow at gas producer outlet and gas storage inlet until desired pressure is attained in the latter. EFFECT: reduced flowrate of gaseous propellant conveyed to arcjet engine. 13 cl, 1 dwg
