FIELD: medicine, laboratory diagnosis. SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminary determination of total count of lymphocytes and relative amount of T-lymphocytes. Then relative and absolute count of O-lymphocytes is measured by mathematical measurements using scaling factors obtained by method of regression analysis and relative and absolute count of O-lymphocytes is measured by formulas. For children under school age the following formulas are used: O-lymphocyte (%) = 93.64 - 1.14 x T-lymphocyte (%) and O-lymphocyte (absolute) = 1671.17 + 0.50 x lymphocyte (%). For children school age the following formulas are used: O- lymphocyte (%) = 91.04 - 1.08 x T-lymphocyte (%) and O-lymphocyte (absolute) = 1360.97 + 0.39 x lymphocyte (absolute) - 28.42 x T-lymphocyte (%). Invention can be used in immunological laboratories for diagnosis of diseases and evaluation of immune system state of body, its functional activity and reserve ability.
