FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device includes a transmitter, a receiver unit, the optical axis of which is associated with the beam axis, reflective elements constituting the beam guide and mounted on the rotary support device, the rotary elements of which are made with the communicating cavities for the optical beam passage, with mutually orthogonal rotation axes, and each is equipped with a bearing support, a rotation angle sensor and a rotary drive designed as a torque motor including a rotor and a stator. The first rotary element is a polyhedron, which has, at least, two faces orthogonal to each other, and the second rotary element is fixed on one of these faces, the bearing support is a precision angular-contact bearing, an optical sensor with the reference element in a ring form is used as the rotation angle sensor. Connections of the RSD rotary elements with their motors and bearing rings are made according to the alternative circuits: motor stators and outer bearing rings of the both rotary elements are made stationary, and their motor rotors and the inner bearing rings - rotatable or, conversely, the motor stator and the outer bearing ring of one of the rotary elements are made stationary, and the rotor and the inner bearing ring of the same rotary element - rotatable, wherein the motor stator and the outer bearing ring of another rotary element - rotatable, and the motor rotor of this rotary element and the inner bearing ring - stationary. One of the reflective elements is set in the polyhedron cavity at the angle of 45° to the polyhedron rotation axis, and the other reflective element is located in the cavity of the second rotary element and mounted on the movable ring of its bearing, wherein the rotation axis of the reflective elements are intersected at the common point located on the reflective element surface, mounted inside the polyhedron.
EFFECT: providing portability and reducing dimentions.
