FIELD: foundry, particularly, preparation of mixtures for frozen cores. SUBSTANCE: method includes preliminary cooling of sand, application of water to sand grains by condensation of steam from air. For this purpose, sand is cooled below dew point of damp air and transformed with the aid of said air to fluidized state.
