FIELD: working of polymeric materials, applicable, for example, for processing of waste of polymeric articles reinforced by various fibres, synthetic or metal cord, in particular, at salvaging of automobile and aeroplane tyres. SUBSTANCE: device for processing of waste of polymeric materials has a body provided with charging and discharge openings, whose inner cavity accommodates a pressure conveyer for rotation and a processing working member, installed in succession, coaxially and rigidly joined to each other. The working processing member and/or the body in the zone of location of the working processing member is provided with cooling means. The working processing member is made in the form of several supporting members located in succession on the rotary shaft, they are made in the form of annular ridges and separated by circular grooves with formation of the respective number successively arranged annular chambers between the surface of the inner cavity of the body and the surface of circular grooves. Formed between the vertices of the circular edges and the surface of the body inner cavity are annular gaps with the value of width decreasing in the direction of the discharge opening. The annular gaps are made with the values of width and/or with the values of the maximum depth decreasing in the direction of the discharge opening. The pressure conveyer and/or the body are provided with cooling means in the zone of arrangement of the pressure conveyer. EFFECT: the device provides for flaking of polymer from the surface of the reinforcing members without accompanying destruction, or at a comparatively minor destruction of the reinforcing members, which enhances the quality of processing and prolongs the device service life due to reduced abrasive wear of the working processing member and the body inner cavity. 13 cl, 2 dwg
