FIELD: oil producing industry; applicable at oil fields in measurement of formation pressure for monitoring and control of oil production process. SUBSTANCE: method includes measurement of bottom-hole pressure tk by bottom-hole pressure gage. After 2-3 min, well is shut-in and in time pb=10-15 min, bottom-hole pressure is measured again and this reference point is taken as origin of coordinates of calculated section of curve of restoration of pressure with increment of bottom-hole pressure since well shutting-in for value Δpн. Then measured every 8-10 min during 100 min is increment of bottom-hole pressure Δp. Using said formula and method of least squares, actual rated increment of formation pressure is calculated, which in its turn, is used for calculation of final increment of formation pressure, time constants and coefficients by comparison, at definite moment of time, calculated and actual pressure values taken at initial section of pressure restoration curve. Pressure restoration curve is extrapolated up to moment at which formation pressure increment for preset interval of time equals zero. Found values are used for calculation of formation pressure. EFFECT: reduced well down time in research, higher accuracy and reliability of results of formation pressure measurement. 3 dwg, 2 tbl
