FIELD: military equipment. SUBSTANCE: according to innovation, the self-contained orientation system determines the reference azimuth, and the navigation equipment - the reference coordinates of the combat vehicle. After that the navigation system is continuously determining the location and orientation of the combat vehicle displayed by the system, for instance, against the background of a topographical map. After the target designation is received via the data reception-transmission unit, the system also displays the target range and the direction of getting to the launching position. On the launching position the system determines the preset laying angles for the running coordinates of the combat vehicle. The system is continuously determining their mismatching with the current laying angles. The laying drives according to these mismatchings accomplish the laying of the launching racks. After a salvo the combat vehicle may accomplish an evasive maneuver and change the launching position. A new salvo is prepared in a similar way. EFFECT: tactical self-containment of the combat vehicle, enhanced survivability of the combat vehicle, reduced time of salvo preparation from an arbitrary launching position by autonomous topogeodetic fixation and orientation of combat vehicle, autonomous calculation of firing data and flying mission according to the coordinates of the aiming points, aimless laying of the launching rack. 5 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
