FIELD: forecasting of cloudiness. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is based on formation of system " man-computer " with feedback operating under on-line condition. Key elements of system are mathematical processing of data array on values of atmospheric pressure above given terrain for its short-time prognosis and entering of initial type of dome at moment of observation or close to it to computer. System is based on initial picture of dome and on prognosis of value of atmospheric pressure during next hours and makes it possible to predict cloudiness and picture of dome during time following observation. System has adaptive mechanism enabling prognosis to be corrected. Device for implementation of method includes atmospheric pressure transducer, storage, clock and computer.
