FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves both defining standardized intensity value in every narrow frequency bandwidth (25-30 Hz) and determining stability depending on intensity variations of different signal instances. Information capacity coefficients are determined for every pair of states to be diagnosed from every selected frequency bandwidth. Minimum set of bee family acoustic signal spectrum components is built. Total information capacity is calculated in every selected narrow frequency bandwidth based on all pairs of diagnosed states. Those pairs of states are selected which differentiation fails on the set of information signs tested. Total information capacity is calculated for these pairs of states over the remaining frequency bandwidths. Bandwidth is selected to be the next one if it has maximum total information capacity on the given pairs of classes. Selection process is continued in the same manner until adequate values of information capacity coefficient values are assigned to all pairs of classes in at least one selected narrow frequency bandwidth.
