FIELD: pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: fresh vegetable material is preliminarily treated for 30-60 min with liquefied inert gas (nitrogen and/or helium), after which dried by means of vacuum sublimation until residual moisture level 1-8% is attained. Raw material-to-inert gas ratio during its preliminary treatment and further disintegration varies between 1:1 and 1: 3. Material is disintegrated in liquid inert gas atmosphere until 15-20-mcm particles are obtained. Powder can be used for preparing therapeutic and prophylactic preparations and food additives suitable for normalization of metabolic processes, clearance of toxins, heavy metals, and radionuclides, for prevention of radiation effects, and also useful in cases of gastroenteric upsets and oncological diseases.
