SUBSTANCE: invention relates to amidine derivative salts and cyclooxygenase inhibitor of the general formula AB where A is cyclooxygenase inhibitor with carboxyl function; B is compound of the general formula where R₁ means hydrogen atom, nitro-group or phenyl radical possibly substituted with one or some substituents taken among radicals of halogen, cyano-group, nitro-group, CF₃, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy-group; R₂ is lower alkyl, alkylthioalkyl, phenyl possibly substituted with one or some halogen atoms, heteroatom-containing cycle taken among sulfur and oxygen atoms; or amino-group that is substituted possibly with amino-group or lower alkyl. Compounds show dual biological activity, they inhibit the process of L-arginine/nitrogen oxide and process catalyzed by cyclooxygenase simultaneously.
