FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning gases from dust and fog in different industries and agriculture and can be used in devices for automatic control and protection of systems for regenerating electrical, bag and other gas cleaning filters. The method of protecting and monitoring the state of communication lines of actuating mechanisms of devices for regenerating electrical and bag filters is characterised by that short-circuit current limiting device is connected in the control circuit, short-circuit current values and load current values in control circuits of regeneration mechanisms are measured and depending on their values, the pickup setting for protection from short-circuits and the minimum current setting of regeneration control elements are installed and a normal operation mode is indicated by the current in the control element being greater than the minimum current setting of the control element and less than the short-circuit setting. A short circuit is indicated by the current value in the control circuit being greater than the minimum current setting of the control element and greater than the short-circuit setting, and the corresponding channel is switched off and a signal is transmitted to the automatic process control system. Circuit opening is indicated by the current value in the control circuit being less than the minimum current setting of the control element and less than the short-circuit setting, and the corresponding channel is switched off and a signal is transmitted to the automatic process control system.

EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of cleaning gases owing to more reliable operation of the filter regeneration system.
