FIELD: instrument engineering. SUBSTANCE: ring distance interlayer made of cylindrical wire is placed on surface of one of parts symmetrically relative to ring mated zone. Then second part is installed on interlayer after which assembled parts are heated to welding temperature, and welding pressure is applied. Interlayer ring is formed to shape from n sections of wire by successively twisting their ends to form similar twists with equal-size arcs in between. Each arc is pointed with its convex part from center of interlayer. Then radius of curvature and distance from place of transfer of each arc into twist from axis of symmetry of ring zone of mating are set. Each twist is oriented radially relative to ring zone of mating. Ends of twists are fixed on rigging member beyond the limits of this zone. EFFECT: enlarged capabilities of welding, improved accuracy and reliability of welded assemblies. 3 dwg
