FIELD: sealing equipment for pressure vessel covers. SUBSTANCE: sealing connection has mating members adapted for connection. One mating member is provided with conical sealing surface contacting with flexible member and thrust formed on other mating member. Edges of sealing surfaces of sealing ring are made in the form thin-walled conical casings. Angle of conical casing apex is less than angle of conical ring apex. Geometrical parameters of casing satisfy predetermined ratios. Sealing connection of such construction reduces required sealing force by self-sealing action. EFFECT: increased efficiency, enhanced reliability in operation and provision for repair of sealing connection. 4 cl, 3 dwg
