FIELD: machine engineering, possibly high-speed and deep grinding of different material having tendency for flaw occurring in the form of burnouts and microcracking. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes boss with T-shaped grooves and screw-like working organ with abrasive layer. Working organ is mounted on boss with possibility of axial shifting by means of feed members and with possibility of fixation by means of fixing unit. Boss is in the form of truncated cone with inclination angle α; T-shaped grooves are inclined relative to generatrix of cone surface of boss by angle ϕ. Values of angles α and ϕ are determined according to formulae given in description of invention. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of grinding due to possibility of restoring outer diameter of working organ. 2 cl, 6 dwg
