SUBSTANCE: handle for vessel, preferably food cooking vessel provided with side wall having bent edge, has two clamping members mounted on holder and having one end mated with inner and outer surfaces, respectively, of bent edge of vessel. Handle has device for moving mentioned members one relative to the other between opened position and closed position, in which ends of mentioned members clamp bent edge and vessel side wall. Handle of such construction allows vessels with side wall of different thicknesses to be clamped and does not require special clamping members.
