FIELD: gas treatment. SUBSTANCE: removal of chlorine and/or hydrogen chloride from emission gases involves preparation of absorbing suspension from ground oxide material, absorbing suspension-mediated absorption of preheated gases, circulation of suspension in absorber-circulation tub system, and detoxification of hypochlorite pulp. Absorption of emission gases is conducted in stepwise mode: gases are first treated by hypochlorite pulp concentrated to 100 g/l and then by absorbing suspension. During circulation, ground oxide material particles greater than 0.5 mm in size are continuously isolated and treated by suspension coming out of absorber. EFFECT: reduced operational expenses and reduced formation of waste. 1 dwg, 2 ex
